There are only a few days left in this year. Arch Kelly had a fulfilling December. The Sapporo order event in the first half and the pop-up at the Shinjuku Isetan Men's Building last week were both a great success. We would like to thank all the customers who came.
Well, we will be holding an Arch Kelly exhibition in Kasuga, Bunkyo-ku on January 10th and 11th. From this exhibition, we will start a service to measure the plantar pressure and create insoles, and we are looking for people who can participate as monitors.
In the past, various shoe brands also offered pads that were primarily intended for arch support, as well as full-sock insoles to increase cushioning over the entire sole of the foot.
There are various ideas aimed at improving comfort, but the reason why support using cushion pads is so common is probably because this is the easiest method to apply to products made using wooden lasts that are suitable for mass production.
In this context, we at ArchKelly would like to take on an initiative to support fitting. We will start providing a free foot pressure measurement service at ArchKelly order events, and we would like to offer cushion pads and other insole creation services for a fee.
Depending on the measurement results, the insole to be made may be a full sock or a half sock, and there are multiple patterns expected. In addition, since it will be a type that is fixed by attaching it to the midsole, it will be necessary to attach it after the insole is made.
As the first step of this initiative, we are looking for people who will participate in the measurement as monitors. Those who already own Arch Kelly, or those who order or purchase RTW during the period, will have insoles made and presented as a gift.
This exhibition will be held from 12:00 to 18:00 on the 10th and 11th. 30-minute slots will be available from 00:00 and 30:00 of each hour. The last slot is at 17:30.
